Beyond the code. and who I work with.
Most of my work starts the same way: a founder or engineering lead has a product that needs to exist, and a deadline that's already tight. I build web and mobile products with TypeScript across the stack, using React Native for mobile, Next.js for the web, and Node.js for the backend.
A large part of my work is execution and recovery. Sometimes that means building a product from the ground up. Other times it means stepping into a project that's lost momentum, understanding an unfamiliar codebase, making careful technical decisions, and helping the team ship with confidence.

Latch
Debugging webhooks locally is slow because incoming request payloads disappear after delivery. Latch captures incoming events, persists their full state, and lets you replay them with original headers intact. An Upstash Redis queue decouples ingestion from storage for fast response times, while Server-Sent Events stream live payloads to the browser without polling.

Multi-step AI workflows often fail when context drifts across repeated LLM prompts. Axiom is a research agent that coordinates multi-step Gemini workflows using a state machine engine. How I think. principles that shape the work.
Ship with intention
Before writing code, I ask what problem it solves and who it solves it for. If I can't answer both, the feature doesn't get built.
Systems over pages
I think in components, data contracts, and module boundaries rather than just screens. Good architecture lets the product grow without requiring rewrites.
Design is engineering
I don't hand off between design and code. I own the full surface, from the database schema to the hover state. If I designed it, I built it.
Move fast, stay clean
I write code I'd want to inherit: readable, tested, documented. When I set up shared component libraries, other projects reuse them for months. Technical debt is a choice, not a given.
